Mowing and Trimming
All turf areas will be mowed and trimmed weekly during the growing season. All turf areas will be mowed as needed during the winter months to maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times. All sidewalks, driveways and curbs will be blown free of all grass clippings, leaves and other debris. Paper and trash will be removed from the entire property weekly.

Turf Fertilization and Weed Control
All turf areas will be kept green with the use of quality fertilizers. The applications will be performed at the time, which optimizes their effectiveness. All broadleaf weeds in the turf will be controlled with the appropriate chemicals at the time, which maximizes their results.

Shrub Bed Weed Control
Herbicides will be applied during the growing season to control weeds in the shrub beds, sidewalks, driveways and curbs. When and where necessary, hand removal of weeds shall be done.

Edging
To create a manicured appearance, all turf areas will be edged with a "steel blade" edger twice per month during the growing season. This shall include all sidewalks, driveways, curbs and shrub beds.

Shrub Program
Proper pruning of all plants will be performed as needed, to insure optimal health throughout the year. Fertilizer will be applied to shrubs and trees once per year. Insecticides and fungicides will be applied on an as needed basis to insure healthy, vigorous plants.

Seasonal Flowers
Annuals should be installed in May and October and maintained throughout the year. We will install the plants in such a way as to optimize their growth. Our maintenance consist of; fertilizer, dead heading, insect and weed control.

Irrigation
Automated systems will be monitored by Chelsea Gardens to maximize results. Timers and irrigation heads will be adjusted as needed to manage water usage. We will perform any necessary repairs after a consultation with you, followed by an itemized estimation.

Mulch
We suggest shrub beds be mulched twice per year to maintain a neat, clean appearance. Mulching will suppress weed germination and allow the soil to retain moisture.

Aeration and Overseeding
Cool season turf grasses (fescue) should be aerated and overseeded once per year, in the fall. This will help to achieve a thicker, healthier lawn. Warm season turf grasses (Bermuda, Zoysia) should be aerated once per year, in the spring. This will reduce compaction and stimulate root growth.
